Summary: These terms govern your use of our CAA forensic training course. By purchasing and accessing our course, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before enrolling.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "Student") and CAA Forensic Training ("we," "our," "us," or "Company") governing your access to and use of the caaforensictraining.com website and our forensic document training course for Certified Acceptance Agents.
By creating an account, purchasing our course, or otherwise accessing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.
2. Description of Services
CAA Forensic Training provides:
- Online Training Course: Self-paced forensic document training covering identification of fraudulent documents as required by the IRS for Certified Acceptance Agents
- Assessment: A final examination to verify comprehension of course materials
- Certificates: Upon successful completion, a digital certificate (immediate) and physical certificate (mailed within 5 business days)
- Course Materials: Educational content including videos, documents, and interactive modules
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be capable of forming a binding contract
- Not be prohibited from using our services under applicable law
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
Our course is designed for tax professionals, enrolled agents, CPAs, attorneys, and other individuals seeking to become or maintain status as IRS Certified Acceptance Agents.
4. Account Registration and Security
When you create an account with us, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
You may not share your account credentials with others or allow others to access the course using your account. Each purchase is for a single individual user.
5. Payment and Pricing
5.1 Pricing
The current price for our complete forensic training course is displayed on our website at the time of purchase. All prices are in US Dollars (USD). We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but changes will not affect purchases already completed.
5.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and authorize us to charge the full amount to your payment method.
5.3 Taxes
Prices do not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales tax, use tax, or other taxes applicable to your purchase based on your location.
6. Course Access and Completion
6.1 Access
Upon successful payment, you will receive immediate access to the online course materials. Access is granted for the lifetime of the course, subject to these Terms.
6.2 Course Completion
To receive your certificate, you must:
- Complete all required course modules
- Pass the final assessment with a minimum score of 70%
- Provide accurate information for certificate generation
6.3 Retakes
You may retake the final assessment unlimited times at no additional cost until you achieve a passing score.
7. Certificate Delivery
Upon successful completion of the course:
- Digital Certificate: Available immediately for download upon passing the final assessment
- Physical Certificate: Mailed via USPS to the address you provide within 5 business days of course completion
You are responsible for providing an accurate mailing address. We are not responsible for certificates lost due to incorrect address information. Replacement certificates may be requested for $50 (includes reprinting and shipping).
8. IRS Acceptance Guarantee
We guarantee that our forensic training certificate meets IRS requirements for CAA applications. If the IRS rejects your certificate specifically because it does not meet their content or format requirements (and not due to other application issues), we will:
- Work with you to resolve the issue at no additional cost, OR
- Provide a full refund of your course purchase price
To claim this guarantee, you must provide documentation from the IRS showing the specific reason for rejection within 90 days of the rejection notice.
9. Refund Policy

- Once you access the course content, no refunds are available. By beginning the course, you acknowledge that the digital product has been delivered.
- Refunds may be requested before accessing any course content, within 14 days of purchase
- The IRS Acceptance Guarantee remains in effect regardless of course access
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method
10. Intellectual Property Rights
10.1 Our Content
All course content, including but not limited to videos, text, graphics, logos, images, audio, software, and the compilation thereof, is the property of CAA Forensic Training or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
10.2 License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. This license does not include:
- Resale or commercial use of the course materials
- Distribution, public display, or public performance of course content
- Modification, derivative works, or reverse engineering of any content
- Downloading, copying, or recording course videos or materials (except as expressly permitted)
- Sharing account access or course materials with others
11. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the services for any unlawful purpose
- Share, distribute, or reproduce course materials
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the services
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the services
- Interfere with or disrupt the services or servers
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Submit false or misleading information
- Use the course content to create competing products or services
- Transfer your account or rights to another person
12. Disclaimers
12.1 No IRS Affiliation
CAA Forensic Training is an independent training provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or any government agency. References to the IRS and their requirements are for informational purposes only.
12.2 Training Purposes Only
Our course provides educational training on forensic document examination as required for CAA certification. Successful completion of this course does not guarantee:
- Approval of your CAA application by the IRS (other requirements apply)
- Your ability to identify every fraudulent document in practice
- Any specific business outcomes or revenue
12.3 As-Is Service
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CAA FORENSIC TRAINING, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE COURSE.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CAA Forensic Training and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
15. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to access the course materials will cease
- Certificates already issued remain valid
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with arbitration taking place in Delaware.
17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CAA Forensic Training.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
- Force Majeure: We will not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
